A dinner debate

Another not-so-great day yesterday. After a big argument yesterday afternoon, we had a massive row about whether to go out to dinner — I wasn't keen, as you may imagine, to spend my evening sat in a drafty restaurant, enduring long frosty silences and provocative, hectoring questions. In the end, the situation was resolved when the rest of my family succeeded in reducing me to tears and promptly felt too guilty to go out to eat. Talk about doubleplus unjoyous. Then again, maybe I should just view it as good practice for xmas...
