Poor capacity planning?
Nov. 25th, 2006 09:22 pmHeaded to Gap this afternoon in an attempt to do at least some of my xmas shopping ahead of time — I normally do it all in a rush a couple of days before — I was confounded by the lameness of their store layout: in order to maximise the amount of rack space, they only had a single payment point. With two tills. For the entire store.
Needless to say, I couldn't be bothered to queue for twenty minutes to buy a couple of trivial bits and pieces, so I didn't bother. I wonder how many other potential customers thought the same thing?
