Tonight was the night of the Meal Out, the one that had been postponed following last week's debacle. It was a pretty grim affair but, thanks to V's presence, my parents had someone to distract them and thus the amount of time they spent trying to upset me was somewhat less than usual. I guess I should be grateful for small mercies.
