Glasses and orthokeratology
Jun. 6th, 2007 09:44 pmPondering the subject of orthokeratological contact lenses caused me to wonder what you're supposed to do when the correction starts to wear off. If you're wearing regular contacts, you can just pop them out and switch to glasses with no probs. But if your sight has been corrected by ortho-k lenses overnight, it seems unlikely that your eyes will gradually become more myopic as the correction wears off and, in that case, your regular glasses are unlikely to match the current state of your corneas.
