Today's Guardian features an article on famous fictional childhood heroines. Included in the list of famous, fabulous, feisty females, which featured the likes of Nancy Drew, Anne of Green Gables and the March womenfolk, was an old friend: Marmalade Atkins. By far the best thing Andrew Davies has done to date.
