Retrogaming on the PS3

According to Stephen, the main reason to buy a PS3 is so that you can install Linux on it, run a Spectrum emulator and play Manic Miner in hi-def splendour. Very much a case of plus ça change.

i'm pretty sure you could probably do that on a psp or a ps2 for that matter. it's quite telling that the games i spend most of my time playing on my psp are old school point and click adventures c/o scummvm. though i have recently been tempted to pick up the remake of parappa the rappa. i had weird flashback moments from hearing "punch, kick, it's all in the mind"
