More on soft drinks

Following on from yesterday's mention of Cockta, I notice that the Guardian food blog is attempting to find the world's best soft drink.

My vote would have to be for the Croatian bitter lemon I had in Montenegro. Despite claiming to be bitter lemon (in English, at least) it was actually a type of lemonade, albeit a rather traditional sort made with very little sugar. It had a nice crisp lemon taste and was absolutely perfect for cutting through the 40 degree heat of an Adriatic summer.

You got me thinking... That's one we didn't come up with on the Guardian thread - at least not yet - fresh homemade lemonade. 40 degree heat, it's hard to beat, surely...
