Appropriate hiding place
Sep. 29th, 2007 06:07 pmOne of the photographs which accompanied an article in today's Guardian Weekend on Pablo Escobar was rather contriguing. It showed an open book with cavities cut into it to allow it to conceal a gun and some spare ammunition. Amusingly, the book was clearly identifiable by the remaining portions of text: a translation of Frank Herbert's Dune. How appropriate.
