Mahler hits the streets

"I see it everywhere," says Joanna, a 21-year-old standing in the cold rain near the intersection of Queen East and Parliament. Behind her, a boarded-up corner store features a 6ft tall GUSTAV MAHLER. "What does it mean?" He was a 19th-century composer. "Oh. How embarrassing."
Might this be the start of a new trend? I wonder how long it will be before late romantic Austrian symphonies become the music of choice for cruisers everywhere? Can you imagine how great it would be to be stuck in traffic next to a car with the world's loudest sound system pouring out the Veni, Creator Spiritus from Mahler's 8th?
It would be like experiencing the mind of God. Except with spoilers and fins. And LEDs. And fluorescent green paint jobs.
