Feeding the mind
Jul. 24th, 2005 08:48 pmI commend the Grauniad's profile of Singer to all. It's a thumbnail sketch which doesn't really go into any of his ideas in any depth, but I guess it's all good in it's own way. If anyone's interested in reading more, I recommend Writings on an Ethical Life as a good place to start. Not only does it set out Singer's basic position, but I think it also includes a recipe for a vegetarian dal - food for body and mind both. How many other philosophy books can claim that?
