Praise ye the god of books

I think that this bookshop, in Maastricht, might just be the coolest place in the world. I love the combination of the 13th century abbey church, with its palimpsestic frescoes (somehow missing from the online edition), and the modern industrial book shelving set up in the nave. A truly wonderful temple to the written word.
