Another really great episode of Dr Who today, which, I'm sure, put them contravention of some BBC guideline or other that requires every excellent episodes to be matched with at least one patchy one.
For the record, I really enjoyed the way Midnight played with the slightly hokey Twilight Zone scenario before cranking up the pressure with nothing more than clever acting. I particularly liked the Voice Doubler — the best monster since Blink — and thought that the switch moment, with its tiny imperceptible delay as the roles changed, was both blindingly simple and absolutely terrifying.
Truly classic stuff.
