Reminded by a recent Guardian article of the existence of Grape Nuts, I find myself tormented by my inability to locate a packet at my local victualer's. I wonder, are they still produced? Or did their distribution pass into memory along with clogs, smocks and other such things inevitably associated, in my mind at least, with the Bohemian days of the late 70's?

It turns out that Somerfield also stock it. So it looks like a trip to Waitrose in Sidmouth and the associated selling of my soul to cover the cost of my purchase won't be necessary after all. Which is a relief!
