Return to Eddystone
Oct. 6th, 2008 08:32 pmFollowing last weeks temporary relocation to Alexandria, D and I moved back to our final resting places back on Eddystone today. And it was appalling. Not because the desk positions were unsatisfactory, but rather because an army of Nibelung — oh, alright, four building maintenance people — equipped with electric screwdrivers were dismantling the old desks, lifting the floor and generally raising a fearful ruckus. It was almost impossible to get any useful work done.
I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. Or most of the next month, for that matter.
