May arrive and may never arrive

I was impressed by the efficiency with which they'd turned up something for me — Argerich and Abaddo's not-at-all obscure recording of Prokofiev's 3rd piano concerto — and we got to talking about their filing system for orders.
Apparently, Opus have three types of order, definitely arriving, may arrive and may never arrive. So assiduous are they that even though some orders have been outstanding for a long time — a few years in some cases — they still keep nudging the record company about it every time they indent for something else with them and occasionally, they get lucky and the customer gets a nice surprise...
