Buses acting up
Mar. 31st, 2009 08:20 pmWhat with Pinhoe Road closed to allow Southwest Water to replace a big chunk of pipe work, the buses into and out of town are completely out of kilter.
Instead of following their normal route, they're currently following a massive diversion that involves an extensive amount of doubling back and which substantially increases the journey time. I can understand why the bus company has chosen the route that they have — it allows them to minimise the number of stops they have to bypass on Pinhoe Road / Sidwell Street — but it still seems somewhat sub-optimal to me.
