I'm glad that's over

I'm really this week is over. I've been frantically busy trying to sort out the customisations and localisations for the new systems; a task made more difficult by the need to do a last minute (actually it took me three days to get close to right) rewrite of the hosts file following the discovery of a series of errors — my attempts to get things reviewed ahead of time having failed dismally — and by illness, both my own and those of others.

Fortunately, I've now shaken off the cold that has been bothering me for the last few days and I'm starting to feel like work is back under control. Despite being offered the option to work some overtime this weekend, I declined; partly because all my urgent is done but mainly because I need the time to work on my thesis far more than I need the extra money.
