Books finished and books lost

I'm not really up to posting today — after weeks of warning, my back has chosen today to implode and leave me in agony — except to say that I've finished China Mieville's The City and the City — more of which later, no doubt — and that somehow, in my pain and painkiller addled state, I've managed to misplace my copy of Michael Frayn's The Human Touch somewhere between my desk and the bus stop, although it may simply be that I absently locked it away with my papers when I left.
