Second hand pants

I know its childish, but I liked Patrick Barkham's short Guardian piece on how his 10:10 pledge not to buy any new clothes for 12 months went horribly wrong:

On Friday night, however, I went away for four days – and forgot to pack any pants. I'm not really the sort to go commando, so no pants was not an option. Instead I hit the charity shops.

Very much the unacceptable side of the vintage clothing boom...
