I wonder as I wander

Spent my rest day pottering around Exeter with H. We went for a long wander — it seemed far longer walking than running — through Riverside Valley more or less to Countess Weir and then back along the leat and through Belle Isle Park to the quay for lunch at The Waterfront. It's a really nice route, especially through the woods where, with a bit of imagination, it feels as though it might be in the middle of nowhere even though it's really only a minute from the Topsham Road.
