sawyl | Short an opposable digit

A couple of weeks ago, I tore my thumbnail. It got infected. The infected horribleness came out. And I felt better. Until yesterday. When another part of the nail started to go a gross colour. And puff up. And hurt like crazy. And once again I find myself one opposable digit short, which makes tying shoelaces a bit tricky. Still, at least it's not my space bar thumb...

ETA: Things were bad enough this morning (Thursday) that I was forced to seek medical advice. Which, it turns out, is not much more than an aggressive course of antibiotics. Let's just home they work.
