A birthday supper and a late night

Enjoyable party at the Rusty Bike last night to mark Dr S's birthday. Highlights included M telling the waitress a pretty awful filthy joke, the revelation that I don't have a middle name, a clockwork Transformer, and a really rather excellent pear tarte tatin. The downside? Waking up this morning at the usual time despite having got far less sleep than normal only to remember that today's the day we shift from GMT to BST...
