Upgrades and an evening out

Finally implemented the last part of the latest service pack upgrade today. There were a few surprises, the nastiest of which was the apparent failure of the HFI after the drawer firmware had been flashed, but we quickly solved these and managed to get everything back up by the scheduled time. We've come a long way from the early days when a software upgrade used to require a week of downtime to implement.

With the work complete, I hurried into town in time to get the pub at the appointed hour. After doing a tour of the usual places, we rounded the evening off with a classic veggie meal at Herbies. Very civilised.
