Apparently, someone stole Alistair Cooke's bones just before he was cremated, so that they could be used "in dental implants and other orthopaedic procedures". Now, call me Mr Picky if you will, but if I went to hospital to get a new hip fitted and came out with the arthritic femur of an internationally renowned nonagenerian journalist, I'd be like totally narked.
