Cold and wet and windy

Not a good day for running. The first mile of the route I usually run is mostly up hill — something I'm used to. But today it was also straight into the arctic wind and driving rain. It was only thanks to a serious effort of will that I didn't cave at the first opportunity and take a shortcut straight back home. But once I was into my stride things started to seem, well, not exactly pleasant, but maybe not quite so horrible...
