Long and busy day

Very long day, one way and another. Started with a rushed attempt to complete a series of benchmarks ahead of this morning's OS upgrade, followed by a brief bout of activity at the start of the upgrade, followed by some very long delay while the firmware was updated and the hardware reinitialised. Snatched a quick lunch while the others resolved a couple of outstanding problems with the swap space before returning to repeat my benchmark runs and to spend the remainder of the afternoon mopping up the glitches and artifacts of the morning's work.

I left at around five, grabbed some bagels at the supermarket on the way home, crammed down some food and dashed out to meet the rest of the gang at quay. After a busy evening we finished up at Bar Venezia where no-one felt particularly tempted to join in with their salsa evening...
