sawylIt's definitely the first of September: this morning's weather was distinctly crisp and I wore my fingerless gloves for the first time in ages. The run itself was good: a decent distance at a solid pace, with a few faster intervals to power past some of the slower Sunday runners — something that always makes me feel slightly guilty but which I feel is acceptable provided you really are pacing faster than the people you've just overtaken and you don't just pile on the speed to push past and then sit in front of them matching their pace.
Other than that, I spent part of my afternoon combing town for some sort of desk arm rest: having failed to break my habit of promping up my head with my left arm, I think I need to do something to reduce the impact on my left elbow; but with the end of summer and the imminent return of long sleeves, perhaps I've left things too late...
