What's special about today?

sawylThe office is like totally deserted this morning — it was in absolute darkness when I got in half an hour ago. I'm beginning to wonder whether I've got my days mixed up and it's actually Sunday or whether I've accidentally come in on a public holiday or something dumb like that.

Date: 2006-01-16 09:59 pm (UTC)I don't know! It's all a bit vague now that I think about it — maybe I had some sort of hypnagogic episode (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnagogic_hallucination). I mean, there was this nagging sense of unreality and I kept expecting to discover that I was late for an exam/inexplicably naked/being forced on stage at the opera/some other nightmarishly bizarre thing, but in the end nothing really happened. Or maybe it did and maybe I just forgot all about it when I woke up...
