Pizza and goodbyes

Despite the foul weather, I made my way into town to meet up with JC&F for VL's farewell — for now, at least — for a slap-up pizza supper. We had a nice evening of it and managed to get away reasonably early — albeit still after my normal bed time — without the usual pressures there was no need for anyone to rescue me from a late night pub-crawl.
