sawylA fun time was had by all at the quay's 80s night and we made a clean sweep of the competitions. We won the quiz with our sketchy knowledge of 80s films and toys — although none of us could remember the name of the View-Master and the lolo ball left us completely stuck — which means our solid third at Chinese New Year wasn't a fluke.
Shamelessly borrowed from Anne-Marie. Sadly, while the photo I took is both funnier and cuter — largely because it doesn't include me — I think the subject would kill me if I uploaded it!
But, far more impressive than merely winning the quiz, R managed to take the fancy dress prize with her 80s ensemble — luridly patterned trousers, a pink t-shirt and a pink sun visor — scoring herself a jar of jelly snakes!
