Five: voting, chairs, games and goths

Because when you're short on inspiration and time, nothing beats a classic:

• thing the first: up early to exercise my democratic franchise. The choices were pretty easy: my current local councillor, because he seems like a good sort, and green for the euros.
• thing the second: thanks to my landlords, I now have a new, comfy, chair. No more lazing around on pillows on the floor for me!
• thing the third: today was world goth day. I knew I should've worn black.
• thing the fourth: having discovered that D&D5 is due out shortly, I find myself waxing nostalgic about RPGs — although obviously not enough to actually play one!
• thing the fifth: there is no thing the fifth.
