How to write an essay
Feb. 11th, 2006 06:35 pmHere's my version of the Feynmann method of problem solving, modified to make it better suited to essay writing:
- Find out the essay title
- Work out what you ought to read
- Work out what you've got to read
- Do as much reading as you can
- Think real hard about the problem, meanwhile:
- Rearrange your comics in alphabetical order
- Go window shopping
- Do the washing up
- Go running
- Talk to your parents on the phone
- Read a novel
- Write a novel
- Write up some book reviews
- Get into an argument about the nature of morality
- Listen to the radio
- Write up your finished essay
See? Easy, quick and efficient once you know how it's done.
