Going out for Thai

Another long one today - long enough that there was some doubt about whether we'd make it to the restaurant in time for something to eat or whether we ought to get take out.

North Bridge Street, Chippewa Falls, minutes before everything closed
Eventually we managed to get finished in time to get to the Mahli Thai restaurant in time to get something before the kitchen closed at eight. This turned out tot be a good decision: I had vegan spring rolls as a starter and a spicy tofu red curry as a main course. It was far too much, of course, but rather nice.

ETA: checking the date stamp on this photo, I notice that I took it a few seconds before eight o'clock. No wonder our waitress warned us that they were about to close the kitchen!
We lingered until around twenty past nine, by which point the staff had been giving us hints that they wanted us to leave for quite some time. As we were leaving we realised we weren't getting much of a break because we had to be back at the factory for seven tomorrow to finish the last big round of M&E tests...
