Day trip to Reading

sawylOff to Reading for the first time in a while for a meeting at the European Centre, where it was obviously duck day:
Rumour has it that the IBM duck arrived the very same day the Power 7 departed...
ETA: in the taxi on the way back to the station, we saw a huge bird of prey circling over houses on the outskirts of town. The size and the white flashes under the wing strongly suggest a juvenile eagle, but I have no idea what one might be doing in Reading unless someone was practicing for a falconry display...
