While innocently searching for some of
jwz's Mac OS X stuff on LJ during what I vaguely opted to term my lunch break (unlike the rest of the day, which I spent unproductively staring at crappy pieces of fortran through a migrainey haze), I accidentally encountered the article on
monkey fluffing, which triggered an extremely embarrassing and obvious fit of the giggles. Oh well. It's not like it's going to damage my reputation as a freak or something.
On the plus side, I
was able to track down the answer to one of my Mail.app irritations. I've been annoyed by the way that it seems to insist on sorting mail by the date it was received and not the date it was sent - fine if you've got a broadband link or something, but not so good if you use dialup to slurp all your mail down a couple of time a day. Turns out, I was being dumb. All I needed to do was change the view columns and view sort options and presto, all was well in the world of my mailbox.
