Passing the local church on my evening constitutional, I was prompted to ask myself the question, "How would Jesus park?" After a few short moments of thought, a Thomasian answer occurred to me: "Jesus might park in any of number of ways, but He certainly wouldn't park His big ass Citroen C-8 so that it blocks both the cycle and pedestrian tracks that run along pavement."

A thought occurred to me this morning. In 1984, Winston Smith claims that ever action and every gesture of every party member is subject to scrutiny and analysis in order to determine if a person is having disloyal thoughts about the party or Big Brother. If this is so, how many people must be working for the Ministry of Love to ensure proper coverage? And who watches the watchers?
