Pleasures of the Sabbath

I love Sunday mornings in January. There's nothing better than heading out on a sunny but cold morning to pick up danish pastries for breakfast, enjoy the atmosphere of unhurried calm and watch people returning from church. I can almost hear Sunday Morning from the Four Sea Interludes, the bells tolling and the sun glinting off the calm North Sea in wintery perfection.
